THE BANANAS. One of the best-kept secrets in rock & roll, their album Slippery Subject is a little different from their previous album, Forbidden Fruit. It doesnít have as many songs about creepy, stalker ex-boyfriend types, but itís just as catchy and will have you singing and dancing around in a spazzed-out manner all day and night. And theyíre a great fun, sloppy live band as well!

Well.....clearly if youíve read almost anything on the site I have a sicko-twisted fixation with this band....Whatís the deal?.....Honestly I don't know. Poppy--but not in a way you've heard before. Garagy---again not in a way you've heard before. At least I haven't heard it before. I just think they are fuckin great!!! I usually don't connect with lyrics as much as I do with Bananas lyrics...lots about drinkin and the end of the world...."I drink when I'm happy, I drink when I'm sad, I drink gasoline cause I'm stark raving mad"....Simple yet brilliantÖHere's the deal....They got out this album and another one-- "Forbidden Fruit". Don't try to find them in a record store. You won't. Order them from Plan-it-X records. They are dirt cheap. You can get them for like 6 to 7 bucks with shipping. Order here. If you have ever wondered about great bands that you never hear about cause they just don't get out there and tour and do all the shit you have to do to get heard.....Well this is the band....I told you.
