A guilty pleasure of ours years back was Santa Cruz/San Diego's emo-tastic lords or love, Nuzzle. When some pals asked for a contribution to get them resurrected, we gladly obliged... but not without a questionably funny moniker behind it. I don't think the other labels involved that it was all that hilarious. This looks to be the least active of the family....

...but don't let that description deter you. If you can handle your pop music in a whined wail ala Rites o Spring, not many people did it better than them. This is their first and only 7" since their return to the musical battlefield (3 songs). They got a little slower (wiser?), a little less screamboat, and added a detectable but not overbearing or insincere little twang. Funny, I've never talked to these guys, and the writing is so scribbled on the back, they probably don't even know we were involved. The weird structures on the back were right next to my apartment in London and I thought they should have been on the cover.
