Chocolate Bars & Crashing Cars was another ham-fisted concept based on the pairing of an exceptionally sweet pop band with a brutally disgusting band. Not sure if that idea was supposed to create some sort of new awareness on the part of narrow-minded music fans, or if it was just for that age-old, creatively bankrupt idea called 'shock value' but it really doesn't matter at this point since we ended up sort of abandoning that idea, and both bands ended up being of the exceptionally sweet variety. | As stated before, a double dose of exceptionally sweet music; the former having at a Georgie Fame song and the latter saying hello to Jesse Garon. Adrian 'Optic Nerve' Tomine drew cute scooter-ites on it, and there's a poster inside (if we have em) with more of the same. This might have 'put us on the map' but I have a feeling that map is somewhere in Japan. |
