Yakamashi started as a record label, but it is a little more than that now. It's also a half-baked concept based on a somewhat defensive stance regarding pop music (which will be further discussed when this is an actual and complete mission statement), where we try and further the understanding and interest in pop music that is neglected, forgotten, or just generally shat upon. That sort of means that hopefully this site can serve sa a tool for us to do our part to share with others things we think are important. At least with the one or two people we tell about the site.
